“I don’t have any friends…”: this terrible disorder that hampered Louane’s relationships

Invited on the set of C à vous, Louane spoke of a terrible disorder which made her life hard for many years.

An accomplished artist and happy mother, Louane has decided to confide in a subject that is still taboo in our society. In a video posted on Youtube, she reads a letter she wrote to herself but for different periods : the 8-year-old girl, the 12-year-old girl, the 16-year-old teenager and the 19-year-old young woman. Guest on the set of It’s up to you, on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, the singer was asked about this video by columnist Patrick Cohen. Thus, the latter wanted to question her about the diagnosis of his ADHD disorderwhich is attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Thus, Louane returns with great emotion to this subject: “As a child, it translates into excessive behavior, particularly in a setting where you need calm, a concentration that is very small and must be hyper stimulated and which, in my time, is absolutely not. A disorder that pushes the singer to isolate herself and to flee her school friends but also adults. “I have no friends because I am, in the eyes of others, unbearable. Because I move, because during class I talk out loud as if I were all alone, because I can’t hold myself, because when I read, I lose track of what I’m doing to read when I try with all my might to do so”.

Louane looks back on this complicated period of her life

It is with tears in her eyes that she admits that this period has been very complicated to live for her. “It’s boring when I was young. Strangely, today, it’s one of my greatest strengths”. If she succeeded in her career in music, the artist was also able to show her talents in the cinema. “I don’t think I’m bad at movies and music, in reality I’m fine, I’m managing well. I’m happy with what I’m doing and above all I’m proud of it. But everything happened so quickly that the I’m looking for legitimacy, because I didn’t understand what was going on. It’s been ten years and I hardly felt it”.
