The director who also embodies the character of Asterix in this feature film counting on the participation of Angèle, Vincent Cassel, José Garcia and Manu Payet multiplies the appearances to promote it. In front of his girlfriend Marion Cotillard who plays Cleopatra in this big-budget comedy, he made a long speech at the end of the preview organized at the Grand Rex on January 15, and he even took the opportunity to pay tribute to his children marcel (11 years old) and Louisa (5 years).
It was his son who was again in question this Tuesday, January 24, on the set of Daily. The couple were invited by Yann Barthès on TMC that evening to promote Asterix and Obelix: The Middle Kingdom. Marion Cotillard has moreover made an unexpected revelation in front of his companion. “He’s going to hate me saying that?” she announced, with a questioning delay and creating a certain suspense. The host and his columnists rushed to ask him to continue, when it was a question of Marcel. “One day, he comes to see me in my office and he says to me: ‘Mom, I would like to tell you something but I’m afraid it will hurt you. I don’t find you good in daddy’s movie‘” she reported kindly, quoting her son’s words.
