Before Killers of the Flower Moon, 2 DiCaprio and Robert De Niro almost crossed paths twice at Scorsese!
Released in theaters on October 18, Killers of the Flower Moon marks the 10th collaboration between Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese and the 6th between the filmmaker and DiCaprio. The New York director’s two favorite actors meet for the first time in front of his camera. They already appeared alongside each other in Secret Wounds in 1994, but they had never worked together for Scorsese.

Before Killers of the Flower Moon, De Niro and DiCaprio could have already crossed paths at “Marty” but destiny had it otherwise! In the early 2000s, there was talk that the role of Bill the Butcher in Gangs of New York would be played by Robert De Niro.
