She also sells floral arrangements handmade and some other everyday gadgets. Today coveted seller on Etsy, Amazon and Shopify, Dylan Jahraus decided to create his own online merchandise sales consultancy business, alongside his business. “I love helping other sellers and future sellers achieve the financial freedom they dream of”she says.

Dylan Jahraus has three key strategies to successfully sell products onlinewhich she shared in a recent episode of her podcast, Etsy Seller Success. “These are three very different strategies, so choose the one that works best for you”she recommends. “Or all three”. If you are resourceful, creative, a little hands-on and have a good business sense, you might want to follow them!

What does Dylan Jahraus recommend?

First, she strongly advises online sellers to offer a range of different products on their site. “This will increase the number of orders and turnover”, she says. The young woman’s second tip for success is to choose products that match the public consumption habits targeted and that it will be easy to make by someone else. So, “when you start making a lot of money, you can employ other people to do it for you”, she says. “It’s very easy to outsource and train someone in this area”she adds.

Finally, Dylan Jahraus strongly recommends that sellers of fill out product descriptions as much as possible with trendy words (but also with timeless keywords, which buyers will always search for). “That’s what I did with my store”she assures. “The idea is to reduce competition and increase overall visibility. We need you to appear in as many search results as possible”she concludes.
