For two weeks, viewers have been able to find the program Married at first sight on M6. Monday, March 28, 2022, a new bachelor was thus discovered: Emilie, 34 years old, single mother who has a very complicated story. Indeed, the one who is a wealth manager had to live her pregnancy alone; the father of her child having abandoned her when she was four months pregnant. The doctors had then revealed that the child could be suffering from a handicap. Alone and in difficulty, Emilie was forced to manage her daily life without being accompanied by her companion.
This courageous mother spoke about her pregnancy for our colleagues from Tele-Leisure : “My pregnancy, I spent it alone. I would have dreamed of having a man by my side in the maternity ward. I saw men with their wives while I was all alone in my poor room. cry “, she recalls. And this is not the only ordeal that the mother of a little Lina had to live. Her delivery was very complicated. The reason ? Complications that could have killed her : “When I gave birth, I had a haemorrhage. I almost died with my daughter”.
Emilie: “I had a big depression”
But life decided otherwise: Emilie gives birth to her healthy daughter. Nevertheless, the mother did not come out unscathed from this experience: “I suffered. I had a big depression. I gained 35 kilos during my pregnancy. At the start of filming, I still had 15 left”. The candidate of Married at first sight was still able to count on her mother to support her: “It is thanks to my mother that I managed to raise my head and that I manage to raise my daughter properly”. A moving testimony.
