While he had promised to ask Rachel Legrain-Trapani in marriage if he won Beijing Express by his side, Valentin Léonard finally changed his mind. He explained the reasons Thursday August 11, 2022 in Télé-Loisirs.
Revealed to the general public during her election as Miss France in 2007, thus succeeding Alexandra Rosenfeld, Rachel Legrain-Trapani lived several highly publicized love affairs during her life. She was in a relationship with former athletics champion Ladji Doucouré, but also with the French football world champion Benjamin Pavard. Currently, the former beauty queen spins the perfect love with Valentin Léonard, mainly known for having participated in certain reality TV programs. Together, the two lovebirds participated in the last edition of the show Beijing Expresswhich brought together several celebrity duos on M6.
If they managed to climb to the final of the adventure game presented by Stéphane Rotenberg, Valentin Léonard and Rachel Legrain-Trapani unfortunately bowed out facing the duo formed by comedian Inès Reg and her sister Anaïs. A failure so close to the goal that thwarted the plans of the former reality TV candidate. Indeed, the latter had announced at the start of the program that he had plans to ask his partner in marriage, if they ever manage to win Beijing Express. In the end, Valentin Léonard therefore changed his mind. He explained the reasons for this in an interview with Tele-Leisure Thursday August 11, 2022.
Valentin Léonard: “I did not see myself making a marriage proposal on the day of a defeat”
“To tell you all, I had even bought the ring during our days off in Sri Lanka. By superstition, I did not see myself making a marriage proposal the day of a defeat. Rachel despairs a little bit. But it will come! We’ll choose the right time and the right day“, he said. As a reminder, Valentin Léonard and Rachel Legrain-Trapani are the happy parents of a little boy named Andréas since July 7, 2020, when the couple had formalized their union only a year earlier. The former Miss France is also the mother of another son, baptized Gianni, from her marriage to professional footballer Aurélien Capoue.
