The specialized media “La Lettre de l’Audiovisuel” reveals that the host of C8 Cyril Hanouna is preparing to produce a new film, via his company Darka Movies. Far from the fictions and documentaries already released, this new feature film will focus on the TV host and the reactions he arouses from his detractors.
Do you hate Cyril Hanouna? You are not alone. You would even be numerous enough for your opinion on the flagship host of C8 to be the subject of a film. Indeed, according to information from The Audiovisual Letter, Cyril Hanouna’s production company, Darka Movies, is preparing to produce a film about the animator’s detractors. The specialized media specifies that it could be “a collection of reactions of hatred against” the star of television entertainment.
A film ready before the end of 2022
This atypical film should be titled “I hate Cyril Hanouna”. Its writing is in progress and the film could be finished for the fall or winter of 2022. It is unknown at this time if it will be released in theaters or on a streaming platform.
This is not the first film produced by Cyril Hanouna. Via his company Darka Movies co-created with Ramzi Khiroun and Stéphane Hasbanian, the host has already enabled the creation of the comedy The Déguns in 2017 and documentaries Galore in 2019. Darka Movies also produced the films The SEGPAs and Tenor (with Michèle Laroque and MB14) which are currently showing.
