“I hate her. It’s shit this time”: Michel Sardou gives a big rant

This Wednesday, January 26, 2022, Michel Sardou was a guest on the program Les udiateurs ont la parole, on RTL. Faced with Pascal Praud, the singer gave his opinion on today’s society and gave a huge rant.

The singer does not have his tongue in his pocket! On his seventy-fifth birthday, Michel Sardou was Pascal Prau’s guest on the show The listeners have the floor, on RTL. Asked about the company, the Connemara Lakes interpreter said: “At one time, we shook hands, we signed autographs. We did normal things like all actors or singers. But now it’s the phones. There are 2,000 selfies to take when you walk out of a show and I hate selfies.” Nostalgic, Michel Sardou explained: “I am from a generation that we miss. My generation, my youth, many people miss it, compared to the youth of today. When we went to the cities at the time to do concerts, it was a party, and we felt the people were much more relaxed, much happier.

Angry, the singer slipped: “It’s shit this time, you have to be honest! We can no longer drive fast, no longer drink, no longer smoke, no longer anything.“Referring to the health crisis, Michel Sardou added:”With the times we live in, which are great, we don’t know where we’re going, we don’t know if the theaters are going to close, if they’re not bankrupt, there are lots of problems.“In October 2019, the star had already expressed his general displeasure on the BFMTV set. “We don’t love each other anymore. We are suspicious of each other. We are jealous of each other. (…) Suddenly, everything becomes a fight. A rag on the head, it’s almost Saint-Barthélemy. It’s not far, it will becomer”, he confided, before assuring: “I don’t care! The burka I agree because we are still not in Saudi Arabia. But a rag on the head, honestly, I don’t care!

Michel Sardou: “Life is less flexible than in the 1980s”

Guest of Yves Calvi on RTL, it was in September 2019 that the artist had a rant. So he revealed:I hate that era. Life is less flexible, less relaxed than in the 1980s. Remember, the 1970s and 1980s, we smoked, we made love, we drove fast, we could drink, the theater was good, business was good. Now it’s all ridiculous social networks where people express themselves, sometimes well, but very often, they’re assholes. Finally, he added:The mobile phone, I hate that, social networks don’t talk about it, and the Yellow Vests, the Red Vests, the Blue Vests, the Green Vests… And shit! Shit, it’s okay!
