“I miss his voice”: Jean-Luc Reichmann still bruised by the death of his mother

During an interview granted on the RFM antenna this Saturday, April 8, Jean-Luc Reichmann confided in his mother, who died in August 2022. A disappearance from which the host still has great difficulty in recovering.

A difficult mourning. On August 11, 2022, Jean-Luc Reichmann announced tragic news on social networks: the death of his mother, Josette, at the age of 100. “Today I cry, my heart no longer shines, yours is extinguished. (…) You put sunshine in my life every day Mom with your words so right, your expressions so funny, your reflections so disconcerting. Excuse me Mom but today I’m in so much pain. (…) I love you very much you know Mom and I know that from where you are, you see us and that you watch over us. Wherever you are, wherever I am, you will always be there, very close to me.”

Heartbreaking words that reflected the deep love of the host of TF1 for his mother. And several months after his disappearance, Jean-Luc Reichmann still has great difficulty in mourning. This Saturday, April 8, the presenter of 12 Coups de midi is the guest of the show 1h avec on RFM. And during the interview, he once again mentioned the death of his mother, as revealed by our colleagues from Gala in advance.

This last sentence pronounced by the mother of Jean-Luc Reichmann

Jean-Luc Reichmann thus indicated what he missed the most since his mother died. “It is his words, his voice that I miss every day. (…) My mom I had two, three, four times a day on the phone. I accompanied her to the best“, he explained, lamenting a “void” that has become insurmountable. In his head, the host continues to hear the last sentence she said to him before breathing his last: “Enjoy it, stop hurting yourself, putting your head upside down for nothing. Enjoy life, it goes by so fast.” A beautiful life lesson that Jean-Luc Reichmann tries to apply as best he can.
