While the shadow of the reshuffle hangs over the members of the government, the President of the Republic was at an end-of-season parliamentary drink this Wednesday. And if the head of state tried to project himself on the next school year, among parliamentarians, the reshuffle was in everyone’s mind.
The redesign is imminent. The announcement of the ministers who are leaving, of those who are returning to government, should take place soon. In the meantime, after receiving his ministers on Tuesday evening at the Élysée, Emmanuel Macron was on Wednesday evening at the ministry responsible for relations with Parliament for a drink at the end of the parliamentary session with the deputies of the majority.

Alongside Elisabeth Borne, Emmanuel Macron admits it to his majority deputies: “The context is particular” he explains. But out of the question to say more about the redesign. In his speech, captured by a participant, the Head of State projects himself on the return to school.
“We will have to redouble our efforts during the end of the summer and the start of the next parliamentary season,” he explained. Immigration, Budget, Health, Ecology… The tenant of the Élysée draws the main lines in front of his troops, without revealing who will embody them.
“It’s not done by snapping your fingers”
“It was weird, very curious. Everyone had only one thing in mind, the reshuffle”, loose a deputy at the exit, even if others, like the elected Modem Bruno Miliene, take their troubles patiently. “You always know that it’s complicated, it can’t be done by snapping your fingers, it’s not true, so it takes time. Me, I prefer that they take their time, that they make the right choices”, underlines the chosen one.
Still, the dice seems well and truly cast for some. Wednesday evening, while a good part of the government was present, an absence was particularly noticed: that of Pap Ndiaye, the Minister of Education.
