“I prefer to be in agreement with myself”

Editor-in-chief for a day at aufeminin, the singer Louane indulged in a few secrets about her double role as a singer and actress. If she is ready to invest herself fully in each new project, she does not intend to operate a radical physical transformation to obtain a role in the cinema.

When we asked her about her different haircuts and hair colors, we discovered that she wasn’t ready to change her look drastically: “I will never shave my head for a role” declares Louane before confiding to us that, however, she thinks that a short haircut might suit him:My sister and I have a pretty similar face, she has a shaved head and she is so beautiful!”. If the singer wants to appear with a hair style totally different from hers on the screen, she is therefore not decided to actually cut her hair and adopt a short haircut to embody a character.

Louane does not intend, either, to trade the platinum blond that she sports lately against another coloring for the needs of a film. “If a director wants me to wear another color or another haircut, fine, we’ll make a great wig!” explains the young mother to us.

If she says to herself unable to cut her hairit’s because Louane lets them grow back. “I try to have very long hair so I try not to cut it” she says. She points out that today she wears extensions to display such long blond hair but that it has been a year since she started growing her hair.

Louane: what she refuses to do for a movie role

The young woman tells us that she is very modest and that she is not ready to undress for a role in the cinema: “If a film includes a nude scene or an intimate moment with a partner, I always ask for a stunt double. But this is not always possible. I’ve already missed out on some roles because of that. It does not matter because I prefer to be in agreement with myself and be comfortable on the set“.

But above all, it would be a choice that does not resemble him. “I wouldn’t put myself in an uncomfortable situation for a film” concludes the singer and actress who is the headliner of the miniseries Visions the first episodes of which will be broadcast on Monday May 16 on TF1.
