Expected from January 31 on TF1, season 2 of “I promise you”, the French remake of “This Is Us” with Camille Lou, Hugo Becker, and Marilou Berry, is revealed through a first teaser unveiled by the channel which announces big twists.
While This Is Us will come to an end this end of the year after six seasons, I promise you, its French adaptation worn by Hugo Becker, Camille Lou, Marilou Berry, Guillaume Labbé, and Narcisse Mame, will return on Monday January 31 on TF1 for a season 2 which will finally lift the veil on the circumstances of Paul’s death.
To increase the level of impatience of the fans, the channel unveiled this weekend a first teaser of these highly anticipated new episodes, visible in the player above. And the least we can say is that the continuation of the adventures of the Gallo family promises to be rich in surprises and twists.
As they celebrate their 39th birthday, the triplets must indeed face significant changes and upheavals in their respective lives. As these first images reveal, Mathis, who resigned at the end of last season, welcomes home with Agnès (Léonie Simaga) the young Rose (Sandy Afiuni), a teenager whose mother can no longer take care of her.
At the same time, Michaël suffers another love failure and returns to Julie (Charlie Bruneau), his ex-wife, and convinces himself that she is still the great love of his life. Maud, for her part, embarks on her new career as a singer and makes a big announcement to Tanguy (Marc Riso): she is pregnant!
As for Florence, she decides to give her couple a second chance and to help Paul overcome his alcohol problems. “Even if it’s not easy every day, I want to spend every second of my life with you”, she promises him. But she does not know that a tragedy is about to strike them, since the viewers of I promise you will witness the death of Paul during this second season.
