The ex-girlfriend of Serge Gainsbourg also cancels his concerts planned soon in Paris, at La Cigale and at the Olympia.
“I’ve always been a big optimist, and I realize that I still need a little while to be able to be on stage again and with you. I love being with you so much. I miss you “, she said in a statement. Jane Birkin, however, gives an appointment to her fans in the fall. The British singer, victim of a mild stroke in 2021, had already postponed part of her concerts last March.

The last time we saw Jane Birkin on a show stage was last January at the Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon. The singer with such a fragile voice had appeared alongside the Enfoirés troupe for a tribute paid to her by the other artists. She already seemed very weak.
