Daddy cake, yes, but daddy too permissive… Happy father of four children, Benjamin Castaldi looks at the education he gave them with a lot of hindsight and some regrets. On the set of Do not touch My TV this Tuesday, October 11, the columnist confided in an open heart about the regrets he may have about the way he raised his sons. While Cyril Hanouna’s team was debating the punishments to be imposed, or not, on children, Benjamin Castaldi explained that he regretted some of his positions. “Me, I’m sorry. My children, I was too nice to them. There is a moment when authority, we talk about it every day”began the companion of Aurore Aleman.
“Here (on the Touche set not at my post, editor’s note), we talk about it every day, there are always excesses. We have to stop putting the child king and protect him”, continued the host on the set of TPMP. For him, some parents, like him before, are much too permissive with their children. “Children must rise, educate themselves. It’s the BA-BA”, he launched against Cyril Hanouna and the other columnists of the show. And to conclude, bitterly: “I really regret not having been tougher with them. Today, we can’t do anything anymore. It’s stupid not to be able to say to your child: ‘go to your room’. What does that mean honestly We’ve been doing this for decades and now…”
Benjamin Castaldi: young grandfather fulfilled
As a reminder, Benjamin Castaldi is the father of four children, four boys. It was at the age of 26 that he became the father for the first time of a Julien, born of his marriage to Valérie Sapienza. “My father was a good example of what not to do too much, sincerely confided the young man on the set of the show Chez Jorden. I love it with all my heart. When you see your sad father crying in your arms telling you ‘I shouldn’t have done this, I shouldn’t have done that…’ (…) I missed my dad from 14 to 18.” Four years after Julien, Benjamin Castaldi and his then wife became parents of Simon. Like his father, it is on television that he flourishes since he has become an emblematic candidate for reality TV.
Separated from Valérie Sapienza, Benjamin Castaldi then found love in the arms of Flavie Flament. The two former TV stars have given birth to little Enzo, who lives with his dad. “When he was 14, his mother thought it would be good for him to change his environment. Enzo felt the need to live with his brothers, so he followed”, confided Benjamin Castaldi to Gala a few months ago. Divorced from the host, the columnist has since become the father of a fourth boy. With Aurore Aleman indeed, they are the happy parents of a little Gabriel, born on August 27, 2020. The family has recently grown again since Benjamin Castaldi is also a grandfather. Julien Castaldi and Kiara are indeed parents of a little Ezio who makes the whole family happy!
