Saturday June 10, 2023, Nikos Aliagas was the guest of Léa Salamé in the program “Quelle époque!”, on France 2. Facing the journalist, the star host of TF1 spoke at length about his passion for photography at the occasion of the release of his book “Le Spleen d’Ulysse”. The presenter of “The Voice” also returned to the reasons for his departure from “50 minutes Inside”.

The news had disappointed all the fans of 50 minutes Inside. Last April, Nikos Aliagas announced in an interview with our colleagues from Puremedia that he was leaving the presentation of the TF1 people show. “It has been matured and thought out for a long time. In agreement with my bosses, I have decided to stop, because my 2023/2024 season will be loaded with the new seasons of star Academy And The Voice“, had explained the presenter.

“You must not be more greedy than your desires”

Guest on the set of What an era! Saturday June 10, 2023 on the occasion of the release of his photography book The Spleen of Ulysses, Nikos Aliagas returned to the reasons for this departure which was totally unexpected. “This year, I already had the star Academy, The Voice... It’s a lot of preparation”, he initially assured against Léa Salamé. “Being omnipresent on the air also means being physically there”, he then underlined .

“There’s no point in overdoing it”

Nikos Aliagas, who lives at 200 an hour, paid the price for this much too busy schedule. “I screwed up this year, I hurt myself a lot. I fell on the stage of the StarAc“, he explained. This fall marked the presenter who had to get back in the saddle very quickly. “And then we had to do the whole season of The Voice. I tell myself that it is a lot of things but you must not be more greedy than your desires”, he thus confided to Léa Salamé.

After 16 years of good and loyal service for the show, Nikos Aliagas is convinced that he made the right decision. “The happy medium is knowing how to say ‘no, I did my part, now I’m going back'”, he said before adding: “There’s no point in overdoing it” . The presenter also feared to tire his audience. “You know the viewers and one morning, they will wake up and see you once too many. They will say to themselves, ‘I’m tired'”, he said before concluding with philosophy: “I will miss this show obviously, but I would have more time to take my photos”. It is the journalist Isabelle Ithurburu who will replace him in 50′ inside from next season.
