‘Friends’ and ‘Scream’ actress Courteney Cox has admitted to trying to combat the effects of time, including through botox injections. But she will never do it again, she confided to the Sunday Times Style Magazine published this Sunday, February 20.
“There’s a moment when you say to yourself, ‘Oh no, I’m changing, I’m getting older. So I tried to find this eternal youth for years,” she said bluntly.
But the result one day made her understand that she had to stop everything. “I didn’t realize I had gone into some kind of madness with it. And one day I was like ‘oh crap, I look really weird with all these injections and everything I’m doing to my face’. I wouldn’t do it again at all today, ”says the mother of Coco, 18.
The 57-year-old actress, who shares her life with musician Johnny McDaid (Snow Patrol), 45, now says she accepts her age, even though she struggles to realize how many years have passed.
“There’s nothing wrong with turning 60 soon, I just have a hard time imagining it and saying it… Time flies so fast! exclaimed Courteney Cox, who claims to have many friends in their thirties and to feel no age difference with them.
