“I transmit to my daughter a maximum of my commitment”

This Wednesday, June 8 is World Ocean Day and for the occasion, the Ushuaïa TV channel is broadcasting an unpublished documentary entitled Sentinels of the Ocean from 8:45 p.m. This production was shot in French Polynesia with Mareva Galanter, Miss France 1999. The latter went to meet the Coral Gardeners association of which she is the godmother and followed their various actions to protect the fauna and flora of the region. A project that means a lot to her since she is very committed to the planet

She did not do this project alone since she was accompanied by her 6-year-old daughter, Manava Essebag, who followed her. “During the filming of the documentary, she was there, not very far so she was able to participate in certain things”, told us the singer before specifying: “For example, she attended an awareness day for children about saving turtles and she understood everything.” Indeed, Mareva Galanter says: “I try to train my daughter with me as much as possible”.

If the beauty queen tells us that he is “complex to juggle between his life as a mom and his own commitments”she gets there because she is “very organized”. She also tries to instill her values ​​in the 6-year-old girl. “I transmit to him a maximum of my commitment”, she told us before specifying: “Children are so receptive and they listen with a sensitivity and a child’s gaze, in this sense it is very good to sensitize them from an early age”.

Manava also seems to have retained what his mother taught him. “My daughter will never throw a plastic in the street or on the beaches, she picks them up, and she’s even shocked to find plastic on the beach, she tells me ‘mum it’s bad for birds, turtles, fish'”explained the singer before specifying that her daughter was close to nature and understood the need to protect it because she had the chance to go to Tahiti every year.
