He’s back in the cinema. Guillaume Canet is starring in the feature film A roll of the dice, directed by Yvan Attal. The 50-year-old actor plays a married man, who will discover that his best friend is cheating on his wife with a young woman, who will be found dead. A thriller in which Maïwenn and Marie-Josée Croze star in the lead. Guillaume Canet is currently promoting this film, to be discovered on Wednesday January 24, 2024 in cinemas. Indeed, the filmmaker and actor revealed the real reasons which pushed him to make this feature film. “I was fed up with people talking about my image and my couple in my place”he initially indicated, referring to a possible separation. “I heard so much bullshit that I wanted to reclaim this story, to laugh with the public at what he was projecting of us: Marion who lives in Los Angeles, the newbie who calls me Monsieur Cotillard…“. Thus, it is with a lot of self-deprecation that Guillaume Canet wanted to reappropriate his story with the one who has shared his life since 2007.
