Although today he is a fulfilled and happy man, Stéphane Bern did not have an easy childhood. Of Polish origin, the emblematic host of Secrets of History Has mixed memories of his pasté. Passing through the show Seven to Eight broadcast on TF1 this Sunday, January 9, the presenter of France Télévisions returned in detail to his education and the relationship with his mother. Raised by a Prussian father, his mother also grew up in strict upbringing and carried on the blows. Always in search of perfection, she transmitted these same values to Stéphane Bern. The importance of the “two women in his life”
Far from being resentful, Stéphane Bern did never developed anger towards his parents. “She gave me a lot of love and tenderness too”, he added. Very moved by the mention of this subject, Stéphane Bern has difficulty held back tears : “She is there, every day, with me. My dead live with me! They are always in me. I live with my Pantheon. I love them”, he confided, his throat tied. The host of Secrets of History also spoke with a lot of emotion about his grandmother, very important to him. At 58 years old, the specialist in royal families treasures close to his heart those he likes to call the “two women in his life”.
