Despite last week’s success with 3.8 million viewers, the I3P series will not be broadcast this Thursday, October 27 on TF1. Explanations.
On Thursday, October 20, 3.8 million viewers discovered I3P, the new detective series from TF1 in which Marc Lavoine plays Mathias Bernardt, a psychiatrist who heads the Psychiatric Infirmary of the Paris Police Prefecture. A very good score which placed the channel, that evening, at the top of the audiences far ahead of Face à Baba on C8 or Cash Investigation on France 2. However, a week later, this Thursday, October 27, it is not a new episode of I3P that viewers will be entitled to but the first episode of the series Addicted.
Indeed, on the model of the diffusion of Substitutethe series with JoeyStarr as a French teacher, TF1 has decided that the series I3P would be released as event evenings. This operation could prevent some viewers from forging a bond with the character played by Marc Lavoine who, it seems, requires a lot of time to be tamed. Will the audiences be as good on the second evening devoted to I3P ? Answer in the next few weeks.
Marc Lavoine in I3P: what he thinks of his character as a psychiatrist
In an interview with TF1, Marc Lavoine confided in his character of Mathias Bernardt in the series I3P. “The character has something serious, it’s true, but he retains a humanity thanks to his humor and his candor. I worked for 20 years with autistic people. When I was young, I lived as close from a hospital and I often took the bus with them. I got very close to them, because as a child I was a bit complicated. I had a very cumbersome body, I didn’t like to talk, I didn’t didn’t like the adult world”explained the actor and singer.
