IA: Consensus, an alternative to ChatGPT that wants to seduce scientists

More and more researchers are warning on social networks about the reliability of ChatGPT in the scientific field, where some of its answers may be completely wrong. This is why they recommend an alternative, still unknown and in beta version, called Consensus.

This web application is reserved for the scientific field, which makes it less affordable for ordinary mortals. However, while it is possible to make queries in French, the overwhelming majority of responses are now in English. Consensus makes it possible in all cases to obtain results deemed more reliable than those given by the Google search engine, ChatGPT or any other artificial intelligence. Consensus only takes into account scientific articles, accessible online, including the most recent ones.

An overview of scientific research at a glance

For each query, Consensus provides an overview of the most interesting articles related to a search. By clicking on one of them, the user has access to a summary and a link to the full study. It is possible to ask him a question or simply to enter one or more keywords in the request. It will also provide a summary of the positions of the scientific community on the issue, through some statistics.

If its access is free, it is advisable to open an account to take advantage of all its features. On this subject, Consensus makes it clear that no personal data will ever be shared and that all research remains anonymous.
