Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed have become parents again. They also revealed the gender on Instagram.
The second child of the actor couple Ian Somerhalder (44) and Nikki Reed (35) is here. Reed announced this in an Instagram story. “A few weeks ago we welcomed our son on one of the happiest days of my life,” revealed the new mother of two.
Her son was born in the water at a home birth and “surrounded by so much love,” she explained in her post, in which she also published a picture where she apparently has the baby in her arms and his small hand shortly after birth holds. “My heart doubled in that moment.”
“Round two, here we come!”
In January, the couple announced they were expecting a second child. The ‘Vampire Diaries’ actor shared the news on Instagram. Posting a photo of Reed holding their daughter in one arm while holding her baby bump with the other, he wrote, “All I ever wanted as a little boy was to have a big family. Thank you Nik for giving me this gift. Round two here we come!”
Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed went public with their relationship in October 2014, the couple got engaged in February 2015 and married in April of the same year. On July 25, 2017, Reed gave birth to the couple’s first daughter, Bodhi Soleil.
