Ian Ziering (Beverly Hills): the actor victim of an attack by a biker gang

If the end-of-year celebrations are often an opportunity to close a chapter with good humor and hope, that was not the case for actor Ian Ziering. The former TV series star Beverly Hills 90210 ended 2023 in a rather memorable way, and not in a good way… The one who played the role of Steve Sanders from the beginning to the end of the 1990s program was indeed victim of an attack, a few hours before moving to the year 2024, which he seems to have provoked a little.

Sunday December 31, as revealed TMZthe 59-year-old American actor was violently attacked by a dozen people who wore helmets and traveled on motorcycles. The events took place on Hollywood Boulevard, in Los Angeles, and a video was leaked by our Anglo-Saxon colleagues. In the images, which last several seconds, we first see Ian Ziering getting out of his car and head directly towards one of the bikers to give him a blow. It was enough to arouse the anger of the latter’s little comrades, who also began to take him to task.

A very unpeaceful end to 2023 for the American star

The bikers did not hesitate to attack him in groups and potentially defend their friend. The star of Beverly Hills 90210 did not give in and responded physically to defend herself, before fleeing, in the face of general indifference (or rather the surprise) of pedestrians. According to TMZ, Ian Ziering’s attackers eventually left and the actor returned to his car to leave, without apparent injury. It would seem that a collision between his vehicle and one of his attackers’ two-wheelers could have caused the fight, while the motorcycles weaved through traffic. A police report has been drawn up, an investigation has been opened, but no arrests appear to have been made since December 31, 2023. The least we can say is that January 1, 2024 does not begin under the best auspices for the American actor.
