There has been speculation for a long time, now there is finally clarity: On Saturday, December 17, 2022, RTL announced the twelve candidates for the 16th season of IBES. Read here who will complete the jungle camp in 2023.
Wild animals, nerve-wracking jungle tests and, in case of doubt, only rice and beans on the table – the jungle is entering its 16th round! After the last camp in 2020 Down Under, RTL is finally sending twelve stars to the Australian jungle camp again. The fight for the jungle crown starts on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 9:30 p.m. on “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!”. IBES will be moderated live by Sonja Zietlow, 54, and jungle newcomer Jan Köppen, 39.
The rumor mill was bubbling, now there is finally an official answer. As RTL published on December 17, the following celebrities will move into the 2023 jungle camp. Reality star Cecilia Asoro, 26, radio presenter Verena Kerth, designer Claudia Effenberg, 57, “Checker vom Neckar” Cosimo Citiolo, 40, singer Lucas Cordalis, 55, and actor Martin Semmelrogge, 67. But not only they will face the disgusting tests in the jungle and live for up to two weeks without luxury, including influencer Jolina Mennen, 30, model Tessa Bergmeier, 33, actress Jana Pallaske, 43, reality star Gigi Birofio, 23, model Papis Loveday, 45 and NDW legend Marcus Mörl will really stir up the Australian jungle.
Jungle camp 2023: All information about the start of IBES
The 16th season starts on Friday, January 13th at 9:30 p.m. on RTL and RTL+. The fans can also look forward to the fact that there will be one more live show in 2023. Thus, on Sunday, January 29, in the grand finale, the successor to the reigning king of the jungle, Filip Pavlović, 28, will be appointed. On Monday, January 30th, the reunion of the jungle stars will follow on “I’m a star – get me out of here! The big reunion”.
