Red Bull Salzburg, Fehervar and Olimpija Ljubljana won their first quarter-final play-off games in the ICE ice hockey league on Wednesday, putting them 1-0 up in the best of seven series. The “Bulls” won at home against Znojmo 3:1 (2:0,0:0,1:1), Fehervar shot the Pustertal Wolves 8:1 (5:0,1:0,2:1) vom Eis and Ljubljana celebrated a 6:4 (2:1,3:1,1:2) away win against VSV. KAC beat the Vienna Capitals 2-1 in overtime.
