A Serious Accusation Against Delobel
Following Delobel’s resignation and Teyssier’s return as the head of the Institute, the students are hopeful that classes will finally resume under normal conditions. At the Atelier, the young chefs of the Master are waiting for Chef Listrac for her module, but Enzo arrives to inform them of a scheduling change: the module has been postponed to make room for a mandatory masterclass led by Delobel.
In the director’s office, Olivia, Clotilde, and Antoine oppose Teyssier’s decision to organize this masterclass. However, the director is resolute and intends to defend Delobel’s honor against the circulating rumors.
Meanwhile, in the park, Malik and Maya encounter Pénélope, who is still recovering from her surgery. She is uncertain when she can return to classes, especially since she fears she will be punished for creating OZ. Additionally, she is concerned about the direction the app is taking and is eager to find out who hacked it to take control of the account.
Later, Teyssier arrives at the Atelier with Delobel. Delobel worries that his presence at the Institute may exacerbate the situation, but Teyssier refuses to abandon him, recalling how Delobel helped him save the Institute from Cardone not long ago.
Delobel then announces to the young chefs that his masterclass will last five days, during which they will work on five signature dishes from his menu, starting with grilled langoustine. While most students, including Lionel, Jasmine, Quentin, and Emi, are thrilled to have the opportunity to cook and learn from the chef, Tom expresses his dissatisfaction, still resentful of Delobel’s past violent behavior. The chef gives Tom the option to leave the masterclass. However, realizing the valuable skills he could gain, Tom ultimately decides to stay.
At the end of the day, Teyssier and Jasmine reassure Delobel, confident that things will eventually settle down. Just then, Jasmine receives a notification on OZ with a message that reads: ‘Are you forgiving the violent chef Delobel? What will you do when you learn he is a murderer?‘
Vic and Carla Clash at the Marshes’ Shared House
At the shared house in the marshes, Vic, Carla, and Gaëtan realize they are all free for lunch and decide to gather for a meal together. With a craving for lasagna, Vic offers to cook for everyone, but Carla insists that lasagna is her specialty.
This leads to a culinary showdown between the two, with Gaëtan serving as the judge. Excited to sit down to eat, he is disappointed to find the gourmet versions of lasagna created by his housemates. Carla has made pasta-free lasagna, while Vic has revamped the recipe with mushrooms. Additionally, Gaëtan complains about the portion sizes.
Later, he recounts the episode to Joachim and Constance, who naturally sympathize with him and share his sentiments.
Teyssier Wows the First-Year Students
During a class for the first-year students, Hortense asks them to prepare a dish that provides comfort, with the key theme being reassurance. Meanwhile, Teyssier arrives in the kitchen to meet the new cohort at the Institute.
He abruptly changes the lesson theme, instructing the students to present a dish that proves they deserve their place. Teyssier adds that they must serve their dishes to him, regardless of where they are in the school.
While Thelma opts to create a dessert, Zoé struggles with semolina. When Gary attempts to help her, she brushes him off. Shortly thereafter, a student returns after having Teyssier taste his dish, which the director harshly critiques, sending shivers of fear through the first-year cohort.
Only Milan has the courage to go directly to Teyssier’s office to present his dish: a braised pig cheek with carrots and oranges. After tasting it, Teyssier declares it the best he has had so far and invites the students who haven’t yet presented their dishes to come at 9 AM for a tasting.
