(Boursier.com) — ID Logistics announced the completion of the acquisition of 100% of Spedimex, a major player in contract logistics in Poland, with strong expertise in the fashion and e-commerce sector for major international and Polish brands, as well as in cosmetics.
Spedimex offers a strong distribution and transportation network, value-added logistics services or retail preparation. Spedimex has developed an asset-light model and operates 15 sites across the country. The company has implemented sophisticated mechanization and technology solutions capable of managing large and complex flows such as, for example, e-commerce and store returns from more than 15 European countries for a single customer. In recent years, Spedimex has significantly increased its turnover to reach 510 million PLN (109 million euros) in 2022.
The transaction was paid for in cash for 23.5 ME and for the equivalent of 53.9 ME in new ID Logistics Group shares issued in favor of Marcin Bak, former main shareholder and CEO of Spedimex, who becomes a shareholder up to 3 .2% of ID Logistics Group.
