(CercleFinance.com) – Idi announces that Flex Composite Group (FCG, formerly ORCA Développement) has completed the acquisition of Selcom, an Italian company specializing in multiaxial fabrics and generating nearly 30 million euros in sales, from of the founding family.
Founded in 1992 in Fregona (Italy) by the Pizzol family, Selcom is a major player in the production of multiaxial fabrics in technical fibers with high added value, mainly for the nautical, civil engineering and sports equipment sectors.
This acquisition is the fourth build-up operation since the capital takeover by Idi accompanied by Andera Expansion in 2015. FCG retains the financial means allowing it to continue to look at other opportunities for external growth.
