A key player in Private Equity for more than 50 years, IDI announces today the sale of the Freeland Group to MML Capital, accompanied by Bpifrance. This operation allows the IDI to achieve an investment multiple of 2.2x and an IRR of c.24% in just under 4 years. Convinced of the growth project supported by the management team and of the Company’s potential, IDI is reinvesting significantly in this new operation.
After having tripled in size since the entry of the IDI into the capital 4 years ago, Freeland has now become through sustained organic growth and a proactive external growth strategy (4 acquisitions these two years) the key player in the French market for services to the self-employed with a turnover of nearly 400 million euros in 2022.
