(Boursier.com) — Idsud announces the sale, off and on the market, of 543,300 shares of the company LA FRANÇAISE DES JEUX, the leading gambling operator in France, for a total sale price of 18,026,254.25 euros (i.e. an average price per share of 33.1792 euros). These 543,300 shares represent 0.284% of the capital of FDJ.
The Management Board, in agreement with the Supervisory Board, has decided to partially allocate the net proceeds from the sale of these 543,300 FDJ shares to the reconstitution of IDSUD’s equity as well as to the reduction of its financial debt. The cost of its debt indexed on EURIBOR fueled by the uncertainties linked to the macro-economic and international context, required the IDSUD company to reduce its debt.
Following this operation, IDSUD, historic shareholder of LA FRANÇAISE DES JEUX, retains a stake in FDJ in the amount of 2,797,064 shares representing 5,594,128 voting rights, i.e. 1.464% of the capital and 1.938% of the voting rights. of this company (on the basis of a capital composed of 191,000,000 shares and 288,650,543 voting rights).
