The skull of Eric Foray, missing for 6 years, was found by the police on Wednesday January 4, 2023. His companion François-Régis Pique testifies.
After the disappearance of Leslie Hoorelbeke and Kevin Trompat, and more recently that of young Noé, investigators found the skull of Eric Foray in the Vercors, a man who has been missing for 6 years now. The mystery remains whole in this affair which could be linked to Nordahl Lelandais. Disappeared in 2016, Éric Foray went shopping on September 16 in Chatuzange-le-Goubet and has not given any sign of life since. A file currently re-examined by justice in order to identify any link with the man suspected of having murdered little Maëlys.
François-Régis Pique, the companion of Eric Foray confided in our colleagues from France Blue Drome Ardeche about this case currently under investigation by the police. From the disappearance of the 54-year-old man in 2016, François-Régis Pique fought for the opening of the investigation. The latter did not believe at all in a voluntary departure of his companion or even in suicide. When he learned of the discovery of his companion’s skull, everything fell apart for him.

Still reeling from this announcement, the man who expresses a feeling of guilt needs explanations about the circumstances of this tragedy. “All these years I was right, he couldn’t have disappeared on his own having bought two steaks just before. I was right and no one listened to me, today I still don’t know what what happened to him, where was this skull found. The Vercors is big, if it happens I passed by him, I could have saved him… there is still a side of guilt. But since I don’t know anything, who found the skull, and I’m not telling you the images that are spinning. I need to know under what conditions and why he died.” explains François-Régis Pique at the microphone of our colleagues from France Blue.
When Eric Foray’s skull was discovered in Vercors Drômois on Wednesday January 5, 2023, François-Régis Pique took to his Facebook account to express his dismay. “I just let go of your hand for a moment. Our love was so great. I never doubted and knew that despite what anyone might say. I knew you hadn’t abandoned me. That’s why I fought until the end. I feel guilty today for not having been able to find you in time, when apparently you were close to me. So far I don’t know why or how. I’m devastated, I had always hoped.“, he writes before thanking the work of the investigators.
