ASUS has announced the rollout of Android 13 to its ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro gaming smartphone models. But not only !
This is good news for all owners of an ASUS ROG Phone 6 or 6 Pro. The Taiwanese brand indicates that users can enjoy Android 13 since Monday, February 20. For the record, the Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 9 were the brand’s last smartphones to have hosted this version of the mobile OS, respectively in January and December.
ASUS reveals Android 13 rollout schedule for its other smartphones
With Android 13, users can see some improvement in the mobile OS and its ergonomics, and several other small changes, such as the consolidation of security tabs and permissions into a single menu, the return of usage statistics from the battery since the last charge, or the new media player progress bar which now has ripples.
As we said, the ASUS Zenfone 9 and Zenfone 8 could already benefit from Android 13 for some time. Regarding the other models of the ROG Phone series, the manufacturer sent us the provisional schedule for the deployment of version 13 of the OS:
- February 2023: ROG Phone Diablo Edition – Qualcomm Version
- March 2023: ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate; ROG Phone Batman Edition
- May 2023: ROG Phone 5
