Doro unveils its Tablet at IFA 2022. A device aimed at seniors because of its adapted interface and its rather classic technical characteristics.

The brand dedicated to seniors Doro made the trip last week to the IFA in Berlin. The opportunity to present in more detail a tablet mentioned a few days ago, but not yet formalized by the Swedish manufacturer. The Berlin show confirmed that the newcomer complied with the standards of current tablets.
The Doro Tablet is thus equipped with a 10.4-inch LCD screen displaying 1200 x 2000 pixels and promising a brightness of 430 nits. The brand does not specify which SoC will run it, but indicates that it comes with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage space. A 6000 mAh battery is responsible for ensuring its autonomy. On the multimedia side, the device has four speakers and two cameras (8 megapixels on the back, 5 megapixels on the front).
More than a complex technical sheet, it is above all the simplicity of use that this device aims for. The Eva interface developed by Doro promises to offer intuitive access to the applications installed on the device which, good news, runs Android 12. We note its compatibility with Google Assistant and the pre-installation of the TeamViewer QuickSupport application: that -this allows someone close to the user to take control of the tablet remotely in order to help them in the event of a problem. Finally, we retain a finish that is certainly plastic, but whose appearance is similar to that of competing entry/mid-range tablets.
This Doro Tablet has an introductory price of €339. The device will be available in Europe in November.
