IFA 2023 – JBL PartyBox Ultimate: RGB and big sound for a wireless speaker dedicated to partygoers

With a power of 1100 W, two 242 mm subwoofers, two 120 mm speakers and two 74 mm tweeters, we understand that the JBL PartyBox Ultimate is not used to broadcast music in his living room. On top of that, this 45.5 x 104.9 x 44 cm speaker is accompanied by light effects to reinforce its festive character.

Unsurprisingly, this PartyBox Ultimate turns out to be the manufacturer’s most powerful wireless speaker. If that wasn’t enough, JBL adds compatibility with Dolby Atmos technology to create an immersive atmosphere enhanced by light effects.

Stroboscope, starry night effect or light trails, the PartyBox Ultimate aims to transform any evening into a nightclub. If life is a party, JBL is the DJ.

It is also possible to pair two speakers, PartyBox Ultimate, or more to offer stereo rendering thanks to the Bluetooth/wifi wireless connection.

Thought for the party

Outdoors and indoors, the PartyBox automatically adapts to its environment. The IPX4 certification protects it against splashes, while its carrying handles and integrated wheels make it easy to move, which won’t be too much to move the beast’s 44.5 kg. Also note that the speaker does not carry a battery and must be connected to the mains to operate.

If you’re feeling like a DJ, the PartyPad panel makes it easy to add sound effects. Plus, with mic or mic/guitar inputs, it’s easy to become the star of the night by playing Jimi Hendrix or simply wow the audience with his beautiful voice during karaoke.

Already available for purchase, the PartyBox Ultimate sits at the top of JBL’s range. It will nevertheless be necessary to reduce by 1499.99 € before ambience the crazy summer evenings, but also public presentations or sports lessons.
