The Qrevo robot vacuum cleaner range is expanding (again!) at IFA, where Roborock is presenting the Qrevo Curv. Above the Qrevo Master, this new model introduces the FlexiArm brush from the S8 MaxV Ultra to dust along walls in the Q series, but above all comes with a new, rounded station. Hence its name, obviously.

A completely redesigned station

Apart from a few details, the Qrevo station had hardly changed since the first model, launched in 2023. The Curv station benefits from a completely new design. Rather adept at sharp edges, Roborock dares to go for curves and offers a station more reminiscent of the Yeedi Floor 3 Station than the previous models in the range. And the change doesn’t stop at the exterior appearance. Inside, the Qrevo Curv station adopts a new layout, which also differs from what can be found in the S series.

There is of course a dust bag for automatic emptying as well as water tanks for washing the mops — at 75 °C! — but they are neither stacked nor side by side. The first is placed here just behind the second, and a hatch on the top of the station gives access to the whole thing.

Increased suction power and revised brush

On the robot side, there are also some new features to note. In addition to the FlexiArm that allows the side brush to approach walls, the Qrevo Curv also benefits from a new central brush. Exit the DuoRoller of the latest models – we didn’t find it particularly effective anyway. The new one returns to a single roller, but this one is divided into two parts. By rotating, this brush called DuoDivide must draw the hairs and hair towards its center and release them into the suction mouth. We also note that this new brush reintegrates small nylon bristles along the rubber strips. And the Qrevo Curv doesn’t stop there since it is also announced with a suction power of 18500 Pa, which even places it above the S8 MaxV Ultra and its 10000 Pa.

To wash floors, the new model uses the rotating mops of previous models and, like the Qrevo MaxV, it can move one to the side to wash along walls in addition to being able to lift both to vacuum carpets without wetting them. And to avoid getting stuck when climbing on carpets, the Qrevo Curv also benefits from a new technology called AdaptiLift. The latter allows it to raise its chassis to overcome obstacles more easily; Roborock mentions a maximum height of 4 cm.

To detect obstacles, moreover, the Qrevo Curv inherits the Reactiv AI system with camera from the Qrevo MaxV. It of course also integrates vacuum sensors, not to mention the rangefinder for mapping. It can finally count on a 6400 mAh battery to explore the entire house, but can of course take a break to recharge if necessary.

The Qrevo Curv unsurprisingly becomes the most expensive model in the Qrevo range, and even rises to the level of the S8 MaxV Ultra since it is launched at the recommended retail price of €1499. It should arrive in stores at the end of the month but pre-orders will be offered from September 9.
