To cope with the lack of staff experienced by hospitals in the region, in particular to overcome the lack of nurses, the Regional Health Agency (ARS) Île-de-France announced on Monday January 17 to deploy “a regional system of loyalty”.
Concretely, the ARS intends to “offer attractive fixed-term contracts to FDI [infirmiers en soins généraux (ndlr)] having a versatile experience, in particular in interim, in order to fill, until the fall of 2022, the vacant positions in the health establishments”.
Premiums included in 4,000 and 7,000 euros
From today and until February 28, this regional system will therefore allow “each establishment to offer FDIs selected on the basis of their experience, in particular on a temporary basis, a fixed-term contract of six or nine months, non-renewable, with remuneration attractive and lump-sum”.
At the end of the day, remuneration will reach “3,085 euros gross per month (vacant rate) with an exceptional bonus of 4,000 euros for a six-month fixed-term contract and 7,000 euros for a nine-month fixed-term contract for full-time activity”. Will then be added, according to the ARS, “the precariousness allowance and the compensation for leave which could not be taken”.
Note that these nurses will have “the possibility of working part-time (between 40% and 100%) and choosing their daily working time”. The only conditions: “to be assigned to the establishment where they worked as an interim” and “not to be on availability from a public health establishment party to the system”.
Which institutions are affected? “All of the Ile-de-France healthcare establishments that can [financièrement, ndlr] whether or not to seize this opportunity”, knowing that this is a great first in the region whose “monitoring and evaluation will be carried out by the inter-federation committee made up of the ARS and the public hospital federations and private” such as the AP-HP.
