Iliad targets a turnover of 10 billion euros in 2024


(AOF) – The Iliad group, parent company of Free, generated current operating profit before taking into account annual depreciation charges (EBITDAaL), up 4.2% to 3.44 billion euros and a single digit 2023 business growth of 10.4% year-on-year, to 9.24 billion euros. The telecommunications group, delisted in 2021, is targeting an annual turnover of 10 billion euros in 2024 and aims to become the fifth European mobile operator.

“We are very interested in the Baltic countries and in Sweden, so interested that we have become the reference shareholder of Tele2 and that we are now present in 8 countries,” declared the general director, Thomas Reynaud, during a press conference.

Free, Iliad’s brand in France, gained 787,000 net new mobile subscribers in 2023, while in Italy, the group recruited 1.16 million net new subscribers through its Iliad Italia brand.
