During the Christmas season, the sad business with helpless – and often sick – four-legged friends is booming. The initiation usually takes place conveniently on the Internet, the buyers are not even aware that they are supporting the cruel machinations of corrupt animal dealers.

Again and again, dogs are illegally sold out of the trunk in various places. Most of them have no papers, are seriously ill, far too young, or were kept as birthing machines. After the four-legged friends received medical care in the animal shelter in Vösendorf, they are now looking forward to a new home as soon as possible.
