Emmanuel Macron continued his visit to the Middle East, Wednesday October 25, with a trip to Jordan then to Egypt. The French president met the King of Jordan, Abdullah II, before meeting with the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah Al-Sissi. The Head of State announced the sending by France of a hospital ship to “support hospitals in Gaza”.
Emmanuel Macron’s visit aims to prevent military escalation following the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7 and to relaunch the “peace process” for the creation of a Palestinian state.
