An ambulance convoy was hit by Israeli strikes in Gaza on Friday, November 3 in the afternoon. The attack took place near Al-Shifa hospital. According to the Palestinian Red Crescent and the health ministry in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip, fifteen people died and sixty others were injured in the bombing.
The Israeli Defense Forces took responsibility for the attack, maintaining that“a Hamas terrorist cell” was in an ambulance. The head of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said “deeply shocked”.
