Immerse yourself in history with Last Train Home

We often talk about UFOs in the world of video games, but rare are the titles that mix real-time strategy and management, all on a train using the unknown history of the Czechoslovak Legion. Yet it is the unique concept of Last Train Homea game developed by the small studio Ashborne Games and published by THQ Nordic.

The concept of the game is therefore particularly innovative but has its origins in the very history of this little-known event in France. During the Russian Civil War that began in 1917, the Czechoslovak Legion found itself stuck in conflict-torn territory. Unable to reach Europe by the West, the soldiers will then decide to evacuate by Siberia, thus crossing all the former Russian Empire by train. This situation will last nearly two years, placing the Czechoslovaks at the heart of an extremely bloody conflict where the Bolsheviks and anti-Bolsheviks will be alternately allies and enemies of a convoy that will stretch over thousands of kilometers.

Thus, the player will be placed in the heart of this extremely difficult situation where the train is both a means of transport but also a formidable weapon while allies and enemies are scattered all along the rails. You will therefore have an RTS aspect in the control of battles and a management content to improve and keep your train running.

This duality of gameplay coupled with a rather successful artistic direction and the use of rather original historical facts give Last Train Home a very special cachet. Note as a bonus that the game will be fully available in French. The studio has not yet specified a release date, the title will only be playable on PC.
