Ten-year-old Sayana has been living in Germany for seven years and is now attending a grammar school in Schleswig-Holstein. When she learns that she is about to be deported to Chechnya with her mother and brother, a world collapses for her.

But now the family has been informed that they have to leave the country – a shock especially for the children, after all, they don't know any life far from their new home country. The 19-year-old student Maja, who had a lot of contact with the family in recent years, started an online petition to stop the deportation. Tens of thousands have already signed and some stars such as singer Lena Meyer-Landrut are deeply touched by the fate of Sayana and her family.
