Upon its official release, Immortals Fenyx Rising had conquered the hearts of players, but also of the specialized press. Indeed, the title of Ubisoft had received good ratings and good reviews, overall. Moreover, a second opus could land in the coming years.
As a reminder, last March, insider Tom Henderson said in an article on Xfire that Ubisoft was satisfied with the results and performance of Immortals Fenyx Rising. Thus, a sequel would be planned. Moreover, it is Ubisoft Quebec who would be in charge and the title would have already entered the pre-production phase.
This sequel to Immortals Fenyx Rising is talking about her again today. Jeff Grubb recently provided some information about this second opus, in the last episode of Game Mess. In the words of the insider, the project “ is not a sequel per se, but rather a spin-off » and should benefit from a visual reboot, in order to look less like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Moreover, according to the information shared and the source of Jeff Grubb, this second opus could, ” maybe to arrive in 2025.
However, we still invite you to take this information with a grain of salt. Ubisoft has not communicated about this possible spin-off or sequel to Immortals Fenyx Rising. It is therefore preferable to wait for an official communication from the studio, to know the end of this story.
