The South Korean company Samsung distributes a security update for its Galaxy phones and tablets every month. The September patch closes a total of 67 security holes. 23 of these only affect Samsung phones, the other 44 holes also affect Android phones from other manufacturers, which will certainly respond to this with their own patches soon.
