In 2023, KitchenAid is betting on fuchsia for its “color of the year”: Hibiscus

Every year its color at KitchenAid, and the pastry robot specialist has chosen fuchsia for 2023. Officially, this new color has been baptized Hibiscus in reference to the flowers found on the shrub of the same name. Just like beetroot, color of the year 2022, or honey, in 2021, this Hibiscus color has been worn on two brand appliances: the Artisan 4.7 liter food processor and the K400 blender, also from the Artisan range. .

The pastry robot is more exactly the reference 5KSM195PSEHI, and is not content to bring a new color to the already very colorful catalog of KitchenAid. If it uses the base of the Artisan 5KSM125, the accessories that accompany it differ.

Just like the 5KSM175 and the 5KSM185, it comes with two bowls (4.7 liters for one, and 3.3 liters for the other). The pastry kit is made up of a stainless steel whisk, a beater with a flexible edge and a dough hook, to which are added the “pastry beater” inaugurated with the beetroot color and the spatula, which looks more like a horn, which could already be obtained with the Blossom model from the Design collection.

On the blender side, the Hibiscus version, on the other hand, brings nothing more than its fuchsia color. It is therefore for the rest of the same blender as the K400 5KSB4026 already tested in our lab, except that it is sold a little more expensive (359 € at the time of launch). The pastry robot also adopts a specific positioning since the Hibiscus version was launched at 849 €.
