“The Bold Type” will leave the Prime Video catalog on June 30. This series, as pop as it is refreshing, will delight those nostalgic for “Sex & The City”.

The Bold Type, translated here as “Of those who dare”, is a series broadcast in the United States between 2017 and 2021, and available here on Prime Video.

Loosely inspired by the life of the editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan, it follows the personal and professional adventures of three New York friends (played by Katie Stevens, Aisha Dee and Meghann Fahy) who realize their dream by working for Scarlet, a women’s magazine to success.

But while they try to find their place within this glamorous and merciless universe, they will also have to fulfill themselves as young women, between love stories, betrayals and the dictates of social networks.

At the end of the 90s, Darren Star imagined the adventures of four New York friends who discovered the ups and downs of love and professional life in the Big Apple. Almost 20 years later, The Bold Type offers us the same approach, but from a millennial perspective.
