The 18th season of Love is in the Meadow is over! After 14 weeks of broadcast, our favorite farmers signed their end clap this Monday, November 20, 2023. Two review episodes in which we were able to discover what each of the candidates of this new season have become and if they are today today still in a relationship with the chosen ones of their hearts. We take stock!
All good things come to an end and this is also the case for one of the French’s favorite shows, Love is in the meadow! For nearly 14 weeks, we followed the adventures of 14 farmers looking for love, the ups and downs that thrilled viewers. Many twists and turns marked this season, the abandonment of certain candidates before even moving on to speed dating, love at first sight that no one expected, but also couples who have created controversy until today !
A season which ended with the broadcast of two review episodes with a Karine Le Marchand on top of her hats these Mondays, November 13 and 20, 2023 on M6. But then several weeks after the end of filming, what happened to our favorite candidates? Are they still in a relationship, happily in love, or have they returned to the singles market? Those whose story was cut short
If the adventure had started badly for Charles after not having selected any profile for his speed dating, it was ultimately during an invitation to his friend Patrice that the farmer met his second suitor, Véronique. While Patrice set his sights on Justine, Charles seized the opportunity and courted Véronique, a good move since the two lovers seemed to be in perfect love ever since. Unfortunately we learn during the assessments that the excessive jealousy of the pretender got the better of their relationship: “By July 14, I had taken in so much that it all came out. I thought I was going to open her eyes by telling her that, but on the morning of the 15th, she told me “I’m leaving” and the bags were packed.“. But fortunately since then the suckler cow breeder has found love again!
On Romeo’s side, even though he had exchanged a kiss with Sophie and they tried to build a story, it quickly ended. He explains to Karine: “When she came back, I was happy to see her, but I didn’t miss her.» For Olivier, the sheep breeder, the story ended much earlier than his colleagues. Indeed, while he was lucky enough to receive a suitor at his home, Corine, they ultimately decided to end their relationship very quickly: “We weren’t meant to be together“, he confides. For Perrine, Anaïs, Joris, Christine and Clément, same story! Everyone finds themselves single and ready to meet someone new.

Happier endings!
For these three candidates, Julien, Jean-Paul and David, the story ends better! Indeed, if Julien and Jean-Paul had started great stories with their respective suitors in the program, Thibault and Maria, their stories finally ended after filming. But even if they did not find love on the show, the two farmers are today a couple as Karine Le Marchand reveals during the review. Julien for his part has “met a little guy» and Jean-Paul reconnected with a former suitor he met during speed dating, Florence.
For David, the story is even more beautiful! If he had not been able to participate in the 18th season of L’amour est dans le pré since no mail had met his expectations, Karine gave him a letter during the assessment of a certain Karenn, professor of schools, whom the farmer met during speed dating on the Ile de Ré. Both attracted, they finally spent a few days together on David’s farm and have continued to know each other ever since. A beautiful romance that is starting!

Patrice and Justine: the only couple in this new season
If Patrice and Justine experienced many twists and turns following the castrating nature of the suitor, they finally reached a major milestone in their history by settling together in Normandy on the farmer’s farm. On the verge of breaking up after a few romantic days in the Basque Country, Patrice and Justine finally managed to get over it and have lived perfect love ever since: “After the assessment, Justine has taken control of herself, she is more pleasant to live with. She tried hard to get the relationship back on track.» Explains Patrice with a smile on his lips to Karine Le Marchand, he then adds: “Now, I assert myself and take back the reins of the house. It’s better for our relationship. Our relationship is balanced“.
