The list of vaccines that pharmacists are authorized to administer has been extended. Since Monday, November 7, they have been authorized to inject a dozen vaccines, according to a list drawn up by the Order of Pharmacists on its websiteand no longer only those against seasonal flu and Covid-19.

Vaccines against:

  • diphtheria
  • tetanus
  • poliomyelitis
  • whooping cough
  • human papillomaviruses
  • invasive pneumococcal infections
  • hepatitis A and B viruses

Incidentally, the remuneration of pharmacists for a vaccination increases from 6.30 euros to 7.50 euros for any vaccination of a person who presents with a prescription drawn up by another health professional or when the delivery of the vaccine does not require prescription, according The Pharmacist’s Daily.
