Lhe last episode of the incredible series on corruption in Austria defies imagination and could, for the first time, clearly implicate the person of Sebastian Kurz. If the former chancellor has always denied having been involved in any way whatsoever in the shenanigans perpetrated within his government until his resignation probably linked to suspicions of justice in the fall of 2021, the recent revelations of Thomas Schmid, his former right-hand man and man of confidence, could have serious consequences for the “child prodigy” of Austrian politics.
