VS’is a plot of just over one hectare, about fifteen kilometers from the popular seaside resort of Calvi (Haute-Corse). Ordinarily, this well-exposed land with a view of the sea at the entrance to the “balcony village” of Lavatoggio, which overlooks the Aregno valley, could have been given over to the construction of yet another tourist residence or a huge real estate project. This will not be the case. This municipality of 150 inhabitants acquired, a few months ago, this large plot with a view to a completely different destination: the creation of a municipal housing estate.
